Somebody has to make the first move when a relationship isn’t working. It’s not always the client who bears the burden of walking away. Sometimes the personal trainer needs to be the one who cancels all future sessions together. There are many reasons why it might be necessary to fire or let go of a client and there are a few different ways to do it.
In this episode we talked about:
*Daylight Savings and the time change.
*3 reasons why you might need to release a client.
*3 strategies for letting go of a client.

I like the contract idea…go over your contract with them on the first day regarding your expectations…as the relationship is a two way street.
I think we all have different ways that we get motivated…if you try your way to motivate, and that’s not what “gets” them, they might just need referred to another person that uses different methods of motivation.
Some people are just not workable…they are just unhappy with everything. Maybe refer them to a doctor to check some levels and make sure that they are meeting their nutritional needs. As you’ve mentioned before…food and sleep play a huge part with demeanor.
